Glenergy Sign Lighting Calculator

This calculator will recommend lighting options for signs based on your specifications. The options suggested assume that the lights are mounted at the top or bottom of the sign, as far out from the sign as the sign is high. If your preferred mounting position differs significantly from this, please contact us to discuss a custom solution.

If you wish, you may specify the number of lamps to use. If not, the calculator will recommend a number of lamps sufficient to light your sign, assuming it is reasonably reflective and located in a relatively dark location. Actual required brightness values will depend on numerous factors such as sign surface reflectivity, ambient brightness, contrast of sign content, and intended viewing distance.
