At Glenergy we take great pride in offering a wide range of energy-saving products. We are continually researching the latest technologies and the most sensible energy alternatives to meet the needs of our North American customers.
We carry an extensive line of Glenergy-brand 12 V DC compact fluorescent bulbs and LED bulbs. In addition to our 12 V products, we carry 24 DC, 120 V AC and 220 V AC compact fluorescent bulbs as well as 120 V AC LED bulbs. We offer a variety of solar lamps, linear fluorescent lights and fixtures and small solar products including a 12 V Solar Powerpack. Our products are durable, long lasting, and efficient and include a 12 month replacement guarantee.
Glenergy maintains an inventory of solar panels, batteries, charge controllers, inverters and other system components to meet all system design needs.

System Design and Technical Support Services
Glenergy provides system design support to people with a desire to have renewable power available to them. We offer our customers dependable alternative energy system design services and guide you through the design process from beginning to end. We help customers to understand the effects of various loads and load-use patterns on system design and can guide you towards appropriate products and systems that are both environmentally and economically sound.
Glenergy offers advice for both solar- and hybrid- system design and, in particular, advice for the sensible application of low-energy lighting alternatives – namely LED and fluorescent lighting. We maintain an inventory of solar panels, wind turbines, batteries, charge controllers and inverters and for specialized systems we can secure system-specific or optimal components within reasonable times. Once a system has been installed, Glenergy staff remain available to help customers to address any questions or concerns regarding the use of their new alternative energy system.

Glenergy in the Developing World
In addition to our local efforts, Glenergy is committed to the promotion of solar lighting in the developing world [Solar Lighting and World Development page]. In an effort to eliminate the negative impacts of fuel-based lighting, Glenergy has designed a solar LED desk lamp that we call the Edulight to help replace fuel-based lighting in Africa and elsewhere. Today, Glenergy’s low-energy lighting solutions, like the Edulight, are in use in 46 countries. In developing regions, particularly in Central America and sub-Saharan Africa, we have witnessed first-hand the positive impacts that improved lighting can have on quality of life.
We work actively with governments, NGOs, businesses and individuals to facilitate distribution and provide sensible alternative energy options to the poorest of the poor. Together, our lighting efforts include providing: individually-charged solar LED reading lights for distribution to homes, systems to light classrooms, lighting systems for vendors, and central charging systems for charging multiple battery-packs or lamps simultaneously. We can assist with the sourcing of other key technologies, such as water pumping, water purification and solar cooking. We provide honest feasibility and cost advice and work directly with our partners and friends in the developing world to provide practical solutions to meet real needs.
Glenergy is committed to ensuring that local people are educated in regular maintenance procedures (including battery testing and charging and bulb changing) and we are always keen to explore possibilities of local product assembly. Glenergy offers preferred pricing to qualified NGOs and micro financed repayment terms can also be arranged.
Through the efforts outlined above, Glenergy became a finalist in the Lighting Africa Development Marketplace Competition of the World Bank Group, which allowed us to improve our understanding of the issues and to form valuable partnerships with others who are committed to this cause. We are forever optimistic that through collaboration between all interested stakeholders, together we can ensure that safe, clean, affordable lighting is available to all.
