Sponsor an Entrepreneur
- Your financial support can directly sponsor an entrepreneur. USD $1500 or more can provide an entrepreneur with a solar business--charging lamps, cellphones, and batteries. The financial support would be delivered to the entrepreneur as a low-interest loan, the recovery of which allows the sponsorship of additional entrepreneurs. Glenergy maintains a separate microcredit account for this purpose. We can support your efforts by advising you on the equipment needed, by selling you what you need, or by identifying an entrepreneur and effecting the credit transactions. Call us toll free from North America at 1 877 367 6729 to ask about this or visit our online store to donate now.
- Lend lights to people in a part of the world where you are already working--improve their lives, reduce their costs, and give them hope. If you get repaid by them, then lend lights to somebody else. Or, if you think there is no ability to repay, simply buy lights to give to them. Glenergy offers a 35% discount below our retail prices for projects in the developing world.
- Sponsor an entrepreneur by buying a solar business system from us to establish their business. We can help you with training materials, user guide translation (we have English, French and Swahili now) and business planning...
