A successful trade mission to South Africa
Glen has returned from a successful trip to South Africa, where he was part of a Canadian Trade Mission on Electricity. There have been grid failures in South Africa during the past year and Canadian companies met with South African business and government organizations to offer help and support, and to do business. Several very encouraging contacts were made and are being pursued.

Lighting Africa 2008-- What an Event!
Glen and two others attended the Lighting Africa 2008 conference in Accra, Ghana. This was an amazing event with almost 500 people spending 3-4 days working on ways to get lights to people in Sub-Saharan Africa who are using fuel-based lighting now. A tremendous number of useful contacts were made, and much work has been enabled by this meeting.

We have moved!

are now in a building that is much better suited to all of our
functions. The move was exhausting, but coupled with the heat so far,
